Dr. Ryan Danner

Many athletes struggle with chronic injuries that arise from repetition and pounding. We understand that, and are dedicated to keeping athletes doing what they love!

Our focus is to harmonize stability and mobility. This is achieved by removing poor joint mechanics while restoring fluid and efficient movement, resulting in improved performance and fewer injuries.

Dr. Ryan Danner is a native of Charlotte and graduated from Providence High School.  He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  After a backpacking trip through Spain, Ryan attended the esteemed Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Dr. Danner is certified in:

  • Graston Technique

  • Active Release Techniques (ART).

He also holds certifications as a:

  • Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES)

  • Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM),

  • Selective Functional Movement Assessment certification (SFMA).

Dr. Danner believes the key to staying active is efficient mechanics, preventative strategies, and a balanced kinetic chain. “The production of quality movement depends on the structural integrity and alignment of the kinetic chain. This kinetic chain is composed of the muscular system, articular system, and neural system. If any of the systems do not work efficiently, compensations and adaptations occur in the other systems. These compensations and adaptations lead to tissue overload, decreased performance, and injury.”

Dr. Danner volunteers his time by giving injury prevention presentations to running groups, triathlon clubs, local running stores, and treating at area races. Ryan enjoys full and half marathons, triathlons, and in 2011 Ryan completed his ultimate goal of becoming an Ironman! In 2012 Dr. Danner became the offical team Chiropractor for Charlotte’s very own UNC Charlotte 49ers.
